How do I know if my organization is eligible to receive a Medical Education grant from Eisai?

Please review the information on our website concerning our programs and application types to find out if your organization is eligible to be considered to receive a grant.

What type(s) of support does Eisai provide?

Eisai’s Medical Education (ME) Grants Program provides funding in the form of an educational grant to support bona-fide educational programs and activities which support health care provider education, advance the quality of patient care and align with Eisai’s therapeutic or clinical interests.

When does Eisai accept proposals?

We accept applications throughout the year.

Where do I submit my proposal?

All applications are completed online.  Once your request is completed online, you will be prompted to save and submit your application.  It is very important to save your application early and often to prevent inadvertently losing information.  NOTE: The application will “time out” after 90 minutes without a save or submission. After your application has been submitted, you will receive an acknowledgement at the e-mail address that you indicated on your application.

Is there a submission deadline for submitting an application?

Applications must be submitted at least 45 days prior to the scheduled program or activity or to any applicable submission deadline to which the ME Requestor is subject. Requests submitted less than 45 days prior to the scheduled program/activity or to any applicable submission deadline to which the ME Requestor is subject will be reviewed at the Committee’s discretion. Requests submitted less than 30 days prior to the scheduled program/activity will not be reviewed by the Committee.

Can I get a copy of the application form?

You will be able to print a copy as you are filling out the online application form.

Do I have to complete the application in one session?

No, you can start the application and choose to save and finish it at another time. When you opt to do this, you will need to log back into the online system to access your application.

What do I do if I forget my password to the online system?

For an automatic password reset, go to the Eisai VisionTracker Log-In page, type in your user name and click on the “Forgot Password?” link. An email will be sent with the new password to the email address associated with the registered user name.  You can also call the Eisai Medical Education helpdesk at 866-434-1286.

How long does it take to review an application?

We generally process grant applications within 3-6 weeks of receiving a completed grant request and all required supplementary materials. During times when we receive a higher volume of requests, we tend to prioritize the requests based on the date of the program or activity.  In the event that your application is subject to a specific deadline, please notify the Eisai Medical Education helpdesk at 866-434-1286 or send an email to Please be aware that Eisai cannot commit to process any grant request within any specific time period.
